I genuinely don’t know if I’ll ever have another experience quite like my motorbiking adventure with Elsewheria Adventures. Audy and Will created something that felt so much bigger than just a tour. It was thoughtful, professional, safe, adventurous, and somehow still full of magic. Every part of the itinerary felt intentional, from the incredible views to the local places we stayed, ate, and visited. I really appreciated how much care they put into making sure our money supported local communities along the way, while still giving us the kind of experience that felt once-in-a-lifetime. As someone who was putting a lot of trust into the trip, I felt completely taken care of. The team was organized, calm, knowledgeable, and professional, but also so warm and genuinely passionate about what they do. That combination made it easy to relax into the adventure and fully be present for it. The views were unreal, the riding was unforgettable, and the entire experience felt both grounding and wildly freeing. It was the kind of trip that reminds you how big and beautiful the world is, and how special it is when people create travel experiences with heart. I would recommend Elsewheria Adventures to anyone looking for something meaningful, adventurous, safe, and truly unforgettable. Audy and Will have built something really special, and I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced it. 100% Recommend.

Pakistan wasn’t even on my radar, but we had such a good experience with Elsewheria on our first trip (their first one as a company too) that we couldn’t pass up this opportunity. Over the safety objections of well-meaning but uninformed friends, we decided to trust Will and his in-country team, and I’m so glad we did! This was an adventure trip for us, which included a fair amount of hiking at altitudes above 3k meters, some camping, and quite a bit of motorbiking. For reference, I’m 54, in decent shape for my age, with 5-6 years of motorcycle commuting experience and a lifelong love of nature and the outdoors. Although adventuring in the Gilgit Baltistan mountain region of Pakistan definitely satisfied those interests, it was the people I’ll remember for life, both the residents and the others in our group. The Hunza valley is predominantly Ismaili, which is a sect of Islam I’d never heard of before our visit. Although I haven’t asked to convert or anything, the people we met in Hunza 100% made me rethink my cynicism about organized religion. They were open and progressive AND deeply spiritual. We enjoyed participating in their celebration as the 50th Imam, their “Aga Khan” visited during our stay. We found many women-owned businesses. We saw children playing unsupervised in the streets. We were constantly engaged in deep conversations by total strangers, who almost always offered us tea. We even found a purity of environmental awareness and stewardship among these simple farmers and craftsmen, where a more natural response to the industrialized world’s carelessness might have included anger or insult. The quality of our small travel group was the other big takeaway for me. We were somewhat diverse physically, across gender, age, and national/cultural lines, but there was a common thread of appreciation for our shared experience that bonded us pretty quickly. I credit the Elsewheria team with creating the conditions for that bonding, in terms of choosing the travelers, recognizing and capitalizing on specific experiences in-country, and continuously and thoroughly planning, and replanning, the tremendous detail underpinning the massive amount we experienced! In short, if you are lucky enough to get a spot on one of these expeditions, think long and hard before turning it down! Two life-changing trips with this company are enough for me to plot a line, and I like the direction it’s pointing!

OMG, WHAT A TRIP!!! We were so close to not going…. Friends and family back home had plenty of concerns about traveling to the region, and we had our own hesitations not knowing very much about Pakistan to being with. But Will (from Elsewheria) and Sam (the local guide who is an American that moved to Pakistan 5 years ago) gave us everything we needed to feel confident in our decision. That trust was well-earned. We don’t regret a single moment!! Hunza Valley is one of the most breathtaking places on earth. The mountains all around are you are so spectacular, every minute you’re in awe. We spent a good chunk of time motobiking through the mountains with an incredible view and incredible crew around us at all times. It was such a great way to experience the country!! We always felt safe and cared for, and constantly connected to the place as we passed by locals that would wave and smile. And despite the unmatched beauty of the mountains, it’s actually the people that will stay with us longest. The hospitality and warmth of Pakistani culture is unlike anything we’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Strangers welcomed us like family. The food was extraordinary. Every interaction left us richer. We literally walked into stores, made friends with the store owner and had chai together while discussing humanity, such incredible memories! So, long story short, it was SO worth it! The planning, connections and true passion for treating the region and people well that Elsewheria brings to the table made it a seamless and meaningful trip from start to finish. Go. It will change how you see the world and your connection in it.

Pakistan with Elsewheria was one of the best trips of my life. I do not say that lightly. I work in the travel space, I have been lucky enough to experience a lot of extraordinary places, and this trip still stands out as something deeply special. It was active, meaningful, beautifully organized, and full of the kind of human connection that reminds you why travel matters. The hikes were intense, especially the push toward base camp. I am no spring chicken anymore, and there were definitely moments where I had to dig deep. But the guides, team, and group were incredibly supportive. I never felt rushed or left behind. I felt encouraged, looked after, and honestly stronger by the end of it. The motorcycling was another highlight. Nothing felt reckless or too fast, but it still gave that perfect sense of freedom and adventure. We rode through mountain landscapes that felt almost impossible to describe: cliff faces rising into the clouds, roads carved between peaks, rivers, lakes, villages, and the route toward the Chinese border. Around every turn there seemed to be another view that made everyone go quiet for a moment. But what will stay with me most is the people of Pakistan. The hospitality was unlike anything I have experienced. Again and again, we were met with warmth, curiosity, generosity, and genuine human connection that never felt transactional. People simply wanted to share a moment, a conversation, tea, laughter, or a little piece of their world. The trip was also impressively well run. There were weather changes, festival timing, road realities, and the normal moving pieces that come with travel in a place like this, but the Elsewheria team handled everything smoothly. Adjustments were made when needed, but the trip never felt chaotic. It flowed. The hosts were excellent, the guides were thoughtful and capable, and the group dynamic was fantastic. I will also admit that before going, there were some nerves. Like many people, I had absorbed a lot of the outside noise and negative headlines about Pakistan. Actually being there was one of the most beautiful surprises of my life. The country, the landscapes, and especially the people completely exceeded anything I could have imagined. I cannot recommend Elsewheria highly enough. This was not just a tour. It was a full experience of adventure, culture, nature, hospitality, and connection. I would absolutely travel with them again, and I am already thinking about my next trip with them.

My experience with Elsewheria was truly magical! From the very beginning, Will and Audy were incredibly friendly and welcoming guides. Everything felt effortless and uncomplicated, yet you could sense how much care and intention they put into every detail. They truly go the extra mile to ensure that everyone has a magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience. What makes them so special is their openness and warmth — they don’t just guide you, they make you feel like part of the family from day one. And then there's Norma’s cooking — absolutely out of this world! You eat like royalty every single day. Every meal was a highlight in itself. Swimming with the playful, curious sealions was a lifelong dream of mine, and thanks to Elsewheria, it became a reality. It’s a memory I will cherish forever. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
